| ONLINE RESOURCES: A highly selective list of links: TIE: The International Educator The paper version of TIE is the newspaper for international educators. This website has a wealth of useful information--the best part, current job listings (most international schools advertise here), does require a subscription. Overseas Digest Much information and many links. You can also subscribe to a good newsletter. WW-Teach A very good site maintained by Bill Jordan, an international teacher currently at Hong Kong International School. We've never met, but have taught at two of the same schools, and have mutual friends. |
This website is just starting out as of September 2002. It is yet humble. Please check back and watch it grow!
Ok...so it is 2005 and it has not grown much. We have been busy with other things. Still, just wait until I get that "block of time"...
INTERNATIONAL TEACHING:
My wife and I have taught in International Schools in Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia. We've conducted successful job searches at fairs and via the internet.
While we are sojourning in Ashland, Oregon (writing, studying, playing) we intend fully to go back overseas someday. We love the life!
We'd be happy to share our experiences and advice with others interested in International Teaching.
