Jesse is our pride and joy (to use a cliché which we never fully understood until he entered our lives).

Daddy is proud that he loves music and is a great audience member at concerts, plays and similar cultural events, and that he can play Bb and F on the trombone, and a passable C# (OK it is really sort of a squak, and he chews the reed) on saxophone.

Mommy is proud that he can ice-skate from the center of the rink to the edge, all by himself.

MORE 1999 PICTURES At Arthur's Resort. A nice place to visit, but getting there is a little tough. With Mommy and Juvy at the beach. This was on a weekend trip Daddy missed.   Jesse's first solid food was Singapore Noodles, and he likes to eat wasabe (in very small doses) straight from the tube. He is quite a wiz with Elmo's Preschool and Pooh's Kindergarten! And when we send e-mail "through the wires," as Jess says, he likes to type a message to Grandma and Grandpa, or to Uncle Bob. With Grandma Lorraine, decorating the Christmas tree for 1999. That would be the family room tree.   Summer, 1999, with Grandpa Mike, learning how to use a walking stick. It broke. We had a really nice walk on Mt. Ashland, though, and saw some horses, too.
