(aka Gross Family / aka Olson Family)

It is not as if we have an identity crisis. It is simply that too many waitresses snickered at "Gross, party of two," and Arlee decided to keep her maiden name. It seemed fair. Patrick was not changing HIS name.

When Jeshua came into the family, there was much discussion: Gross, Olson, Gross-Olson, Olson-Gross...what should be HIS last name? How many last names should one family have. In the end he became Olson-Gross. Our friends avoid the whole issue by calling us the "Grolsons" which kind of has a ring. Or, they use our first names.

We created this page mostly for our families to keep tabs on us between our summer visits when we lived overseas, (it was much faster than mailing pictures). Now that we are back in the States it gets less updating, because we see our families more regularly, but of course anyone who surfs in is welcome to browse.
