Parent/Teacher Conferences Oct 15 and 16: For those parents who are unable to attend, and indeed also for those who do attend, I'd like to take this opportunity to say just how pleased I am with my three high school classes this year (BAND, CHOIR, GUITAR). The caliber of student; the positive attitude and willingness to work to grow musically displayed by all ensemble members; the esprit de corps--these are so high this year. We are bound to have a great year, musically.

My position on "band, choir, guitar, life and music" in light of world events: We must proceed AS IF all is well. We will work under the assumption that all scheduled events (Concerts, All-Kingdom Band, etc) will take place as planned, and adjust as necessary as the situation develops.I won't use this space as a forum to expound further, except to say we are deeply saddened and daily affected by the tragic events of this past month. We hope for a return to normalcy soon.
