Thanks to all involved

for making this year's ALL-KINGDOM MUSIC FESTIVAL an indisputable success! My favorite quote, from an 11th grade participant: "This was the single greatest thing that has happened to me since moving to Saudi Arabia five years ago!" This site will remain up as long as bandwidth permits, as a reference and reminder of the event.

CD's of the event are available through participating school directors for SR40 each. (Pay as you order.) They should be ready by May 30.

Concert Dress Requirement: black or dark dress shoes, (black socks, gentleman), black dress trousers or skirt (below the knee), white dress shirt or blouse (no tees or polos).

Music has been ordered and is on its way via express air; as soon as all the pieces arrive we will get them out to participating schools so that students can begin mastering their parts. (2/25/02)

Chet Garber, music director at Jubail Academy, has agreed to take on the responsibility of coordinating (beginning with "assessing the feasibility of") including an All-Kingdom Choir in this year's festival. At best, we will manage to field a viable group and offer this growth opportunity to our choir students, at worst, we will lay groundwork for including a choir in NEXT YEAR's event... (2/25/02)

We have procured the services of (soon to be Dr.) Edwin Powell, Associate professor and director of bands at University of Tennessee, Knoxville, as our guest conductor and clinician for the band. ISG is in the process of arranging his visa, etc. (Jan. 02).
